What is Bag-on-Valve and Continuous Spray?
Also called Bag-in-can and BOV, this system is the latest in aerosol technology. The system holds the product separate from the propellant, which insures the product integrity. The design does not use harmful gas propellants and instead uses compressed air to dispense. The result is a continuous spray (even upside down) throughout the use of the product.
There are other advantages! Products sprayed with this system are not cold to the skin (due to the propellant) and can be sprayed at any angle!
Unique Labs is FDA compliant in BOV filling. For this reason, we can offer services in filling sunscreen and other regulated products.
The costs for this procedure may surprise you. We have a high speed BOV line that creates a very cost competative position in the industry. Contact us today to discuss positioning your product in this system.

Does Unique Labs develop new technology?
Unique Labs has a history of developing personal care formulations for several types of industries. We have created revolutionary hand protective hand creams and have worked with customers to develop many innovative cremes, liquids, and sprays.
Unique Labs has also had many opportunities to engineer our equipment to meet our customer's needs. Do you have a "Unique" product? Try us! We love challenges!
What type of products does Unique package?
Unique Labs has five separate manufacturing departments and two different locations. We separate FDA compliant products from non-FDA products to ensure no contamination between them. In our different locations we have processed foams, hand cremes, lotions, mouthwashes, personal protection sprays, sunscreens, saline sprays, skin protectants, adhesives and many other products.
Yes and no. To get your product started, we will work with you in developing the right packaging and product dispensing. That may be 10 or 1000 units. However, when the packaging specifications are met, we would require a minumim order of 5000 units.
Are Unique's processes and products friendly to the environment?
At Unique Labs, our goal is to have a minimal impact on our local and global environment. This is one of the reasons we have invested in the BOV technology. We appreciate the "friendliness" of the non-CFC system. Our other aerosol lines use non CFC propellants and package in such a way as to minimize their impact on the environment.
